30-year-old woman killed in a Hit-and-Run Accident in Long Beach

Police officials have reported that a 30-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Long Beach on Monday night 20th May 2019. Two suspects are under custody.

Police authorities responded to an emergency in West Willow Street and Pacific Avenue at around 9:20 p.m., concerning a hit-and-run crash.

The woman who was suspected to be about 30 years of age was confirmed dead when the cops arrived at the scene.

Authorities haven't reported the name of the deceased woman but her family has already been informed.

The woman was walking on the sidewalk when the vehicle struck her and fled from the crime scene.

The hit-and-run scene in Park Avenue was temporarily sealed off for the police to investigate.

The officials detained a vehicle later on Long Beach Boulevard and 32nd Street, with two adults who they believe are the suspects of the hit-and-run accident.

Further investigations are being carried on.
