Congratulations are in order for 2 Chainz and Kesha Ward! The 40-year-old We Own It rapper, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, hit the red carpet at the 2018 Met Gala and had more than striking a posing on his mind.
While walking up the Gala's famed stairs, the R&B singer got down on one knee and popped the question to his long-term girlfriend Kesha.
Kesha subsequently accepted her boyfriend's proposal, and of course, the stunning engagement ring too.
This is 2 Chainz first time at the Met Gala and for the exciting night in New York City, he rocked a black suit with gold embroidered details, made by Versace.
The couple has often referred to each other as "husband" and "wife", however, they have never tied the knot. They share three kids together; namely Heaven, Harmony and Halo.
The annual affair, which is themed Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, in NYC. The Met Gala is always held on the first Monday in May.
Prior to the proposal, the songster shared a video via Instagram while en route to the Gala and wrote, "headed to #metgala2018."
