1 Person Killed, 3 Officers Injured in a Miami, Florida Police Chase

One person was killed and three officers were injured in a police chase in Miami, Florida, local news reporters have confirmed.

Miami Police told media on Sunday, February 14, that they recognized a red Hyundai vehicle that was linked to an armed carjacking on Saturday, February 13, and thus they started chasing it, according to a WSVN report.

Four "heavily-armed" suspects, including three children, were involved in the incident. They were in the vehicle at approx. 5 p.m. when the car struck a woman. The victim was leaving a funeral home in the area.

Police told the news station that the car chase ended after the suspects' vehicle flipped over. The officers became injured while trying to get the four suspects out of the car.

The suspects were arrested and taken to a hospital for treatments.
