One person was killed and several others were injured after unidentified suspects opened fire during the funeral procession for late rapper Nipsey Hussle Thursday afternoon at 103 Street and Main Street.
According to Los Angeles police Chief Michel Moore, a total of four were shot during the procession.
Three African-American men and one African-American woman have been described as the victims. Moore says that all of them were between the ages of 30 to 50.
It's unknown which was the victim who died during the shooting. As for the suspects, authorities say men in gray Hyundai opened fired at the street.
Moore says, "We must stop this senseless violence."
A huge crowd gathered on Thursday, April 11, to pay their respects to the late rapper as his coffin was carried from the public funeral at Staples Center to South Los Angeles where he was born and raised.
Born Ermias Joseph Asghedom, was shot and killed on March 31, after a man shot him outside his clothing store, Marathon Clothing, in L.A. He was 33.
Holder was charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm.
