Taylor Kitsch (born April 8, 1981) is a Canadian model and actor. He is popular in the world for his role as Tim Riggins in the NBC series Friday Night Lights (2006–2011), Gambit in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), and Lieutenant Alex Hopper in Battleship (2012). He was born in Kelowna, British Columbia to Susan Green and Drew Kitsch . His mother worked for the BC Liquor Board while his father worked in Construction Company. He was just one, when his parents separated. Then he was raised by his mother in a mobile home park. He also has two brothers.

There is no information about his personal life matters like his love affairs, his girlfriend, his married life and his wife. Maybe he is more interested in keeping these things secret. But once when asked, what was the most romantic thing he has done for someone? he replied he went to Europe to surprise his girlfriend at the time. 2008

In 2008, he went to Africa with his co-star co-star Connie Britton. In Africa, they went to Uganda and Kenya and became more aware of a charity called the African Children's Choir. A year before, he also took part in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, which benefits the Children's Hospital, Los Angeles. Taylor supports fitness activities for kids.

Taylor won CinemaCon, USA, in 2012 for Male Star of Tomorrow. The same year he was also nominated in Genie Awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role but he was not honored with this award. Someone else won it.

Taylor is a very talented actor and model. In 2015, he was nominated in CinEuphoria Awards for Best Ensemble - International Competition. He was so lucky that he won this award. He was nominated for his role in The Normal Heart.
