Matt Preston is an Australian from English ethnic background, well-known as a judge on Network Ten’s "Master Chef Australia." He is a food journalist, food critic, recipe writer and television personality, born in London, United Kingdom. Matt was born in a Roman Catholic family as the son of British Naval journalist, Antony Preston and grew up along with his siblings in London. He attended the Worth School in Sussex and pursued his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kent with BA Hons in Politics and Government. Regarding his ethnicity, he is white and holds British Nationality.
He Started his career as a writer at City Limits and IPC magazines. Later, Matt became the Australian TV correspondent for IPC and wrote articles for TV Times.
