An American professional basketball executive, former coach and former player, Larry Bird was born on December 7, 1956, in West Baden spring, Indiana. He is the son of Georgia and Claude Joseph. His Parents divorced when he was a high school student. He started to play basketball from Spring Vally highschool. He Graduated from Indiana State University. He is played his entire professional career for Boston Celtics, winning three NBA Champing.
Bird received a scholarship in 1974 to paly college basketball from Indiana State University Hoosiers. He served as a head coach for the Indiana Pacers from 1997 to 2000.
In 2003 he took on the role of president of basketball operations for the Pacers. His named listed as one of the most valuable players in entire NBA Draft. Larry's nationality is American and he belongs to a white ethnicity. The NBA hall of fame star Bird is currently at the age of 60.
