A well-known British newscaster and a presenter, Katie Derham currently works on "BBC." She was born as Catherine Beatrice Margaret “Katie” Derham on June 18, 1970, in Canterbury, Kent, England. She born to her father, John, a chemist for Pfizer, and mother, Margaret Derham, a teacher and grew up with her siblings Elizabeth and Richard. She transferred to Cheshire and spent her childhood in Wilmslow.
Katie Derham enrolled at Sandbach and Cheadle Hulme School for A-Level in French, History, and Economics. She then gained her B.A degree in Economics from the Magdalene College, Cambridge.
