A South Korean actor, singer as well as a model, best known for his roles in the sitcom "Unstoppable High Kick", and the television dramas "The Return of Iljimae", "49 Days" and "Flower Boy Ramyun Shop", Jung II-woo was born on 9 September 1987, to his father Jung Hae-hoon and mother Shim Youn-ok, in Seoul located in the South Korea. As he was playing in various dramas and plays since his childhood such that he always wanted to be an actor since his early life.

Jung Il-woo first studied broadcasting at the Seoul Institute of the Arts but later dropped out and transferred to the Theater and Film department of Hanyang University to full fill his dream to be an actor. After long struggle, Jung finally made his acting debut in 2006 with a minor role in the thriller "The World of Silence", but he first rose to fame after giving a great impressive performance in the sitcom "Unstoppable High Kick" in the same year.

After that, he then joined the ensemble cast of 2007 romantic comedy film "My Love". Beside this, he has also appeared in several hit Korean movies such as "The Rise of a Tomboy",“Love First”, “GoodBye Sadness” and “Silent World”.

Jung II-woo is currently at the age of 29. Regarding his ethnicity and nationality, Jung is an Asian-South Korean actor. Currently, he has an affair with his girlfriend  Sandara Park. They are in a very strong relationship as the couple is dating each other since 2010. Moreover, He was previously was in the relationship with a fashion designer Kim Jin.
