Jackie Cooper ( September 15, 1922 – May 3, 2011) was an American actor, producer, television director and an executive. He was born in Los Angeles, California, United States of America, to John Cooper and Mabel Leonard Bigelow. His mother was a stage pianist. His father left the family when he was just two years old. His birth name was John Cooper Jr. His mother was Italian American and his father was Jewish. It is also said that he never saw his father after he abandoned his family.

Jackie Cooper was a married man. He was not married just once but had married three times. First, on 11 December 1944, he married June Horne. They lived together for about five years and finally divorced in 1949. They also had one child. He then married Hildy Parks on18 March 1950 but they also divorced on 16 February 1954. The couple didn't have any children together. The same year, he married his girlfriend, Barbara Rae Kraus on 29 April. They remained together for more than half a century and also had three children together. But on 30 May 2009, his wife died an unfortunate death. The reason for her death is unknown. He first made his appearance as an actor at the age of three. He appeared in Lloyd Hamilton comedies under the name of "Leonard" as an extra with his grandmother. For nearly 50 years, he remained as the youngest Oscar nominee in any category but later in 1979, he was surpassed by Justin Henry's nomination, at age 8, in the Supporting Actor category for Kramer vs. Kramer. He earned a lot from his acting career but the exact figure of his net worth is not clear.

Cooper and Barbara Rae Kraus remained together for more than fifty years. During this time they had three children together. But on 30 May 2009, she wife died an unfortunate death. The reason for her death is unknown.

Cooper died on May 3, 2011, in Santa Monica, California. He was suffering from a short illness. After his death, he received an honor from his naval service; he was interred at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
