An American versatile singer, Glen Campbell was born on April 22, 1936, in Billstown a tiny community near Delight in Pike County, Arkansas. He is the seventh son of twelve children to John Wesley and Carrie Dell (Stone) Campbell. Glen grew up in Delight, Arkansas. He received his first guitar when he was four years old. His father was a sharecropper of Scottish ancestry.
