Gabriel Iglesias Biography
The stand-up comedian Gabriel J. Iglesias is comically known as Fluffy. He is also an actor, writer, producer, and voice actor. He was born in San Diego, California, the youngest of six children to a single mother. As a boy, he grew up in Riverside, Corona, Santa Ana, Baldwin Park, and Compton. Hisa family later settled in Section 8, low-income housing in Long Beach, where Iglesias spent most of his youth.
Before doing comedy, he used to work for a cell phone company in Loss Angles. Though he was insisted by the family to follow the same job for financial security, he tried in comedy. Handling two works started being difficult for him and since 1997 he gave his full-time to comedy. Because of leaving the job of cell phone Company, he even had to leave his house and car.
Nevertheless, he followed comedy and started doing comedy often referring his weight in his comedy. His comedy is mostly related with fatness. He uses the term 'I am not fat... I am Fluffy' in his comedies which was popular among fat people in 1940s. Anyways, his passion of being a comedian made him a successful comedian. In 2000, he co-starred with Amanda Bynes and Nick Cannon in season 6 of the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series All That. And in 2007, he was the one to voice an entire Mexican family in "Padre de Familia", a sixth season episode of the Fox TV animated comedy Family Guy. And he has voiced in different other shows.
Iglesias was a contestant on the fourth season of reality TV series Last Comic Standing in 2006. He is the host and producer of 2011, Comedy Central debuted Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand Up Revolution. Iglesias has hosted/co-hosted six episodes of Equals Three and he has made a guest appearance on the YouTube show Epic Meal Time in the April 3, 2012 episode "Fast Food Fluffy Cake". In the 2012 film Magic Mike, he played strip club DJ and a drug dealer. Currently, he is featured in the new reality show "Fluffy Breaks Even" which is currently shown on Fuse TV.

Iglesias is currently living in Whittier, California with his girlfriend Claudia Valdez and they are blessed with a son.
