Erick Erickson is a politically conservative American blogger who hosts radio show Atlanta's Evening News with Erick Erickson, broadcast on 750 WSB (AM). Along with a blogger, he is a writer, columnist and radio host. He was born in Jackson, East Feliciana Parish Louisiana, US. His father worked as an oil company production foreman for Conoco Oil. He went to Dubai when he was five and returned back to Jackson at fifteen years of age.

Erickson earned his bachelor's degree from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and a law degree from Mercer’s Walter F. George School of Law. Erickson joined the conservative blog RedState in 2005. He served RedState as the editor-in-chief and CEO. The Daily Telegraph listed him in its "List of Most Influential US Conservatives", giving him a rank of 69th most influential in 2007 and 65th in 2010.

Erickson was elected as a Republican member of the Macon on 6 November 2007 to a four-year term as a Georgia city council and he resigned his office on 16 February 2011. He also worked for Television, on 2010 he joined CNN and after leaving it he joined FOX News as a contributor. His journey at radio started from 2011 when he first hosted a local radio show on WSB Radio. He guest hosted The Rush Limbaugh Show.
