Winner of Academy of Country Music for ACM Single Record of the Year, Don Williams is one of the oldest singer and songwriter in the present time. He is also popular for being the former lead singer of the folk-pop group Pozo-Seco Singers. Don Williams was born in Floydada, Texas, United States of America to American parents in the late 1930s. He was also raised there and began singing since he was three. He is an American and is of white ethnicity.

On 10th of April 1960, Don got married to Joy Bucher. Joy Bucher is a lovely lady and an amazing house wife. As a loving husband and wife, they have also been parents twice. Both of them are sons and they named them Gary and Timmy. There is no any rumor their extra affairs and divorce.

Don's mother was a musician. He learned how to play guitar from his mother. When he was just three, he began singing and he also competed in the singing competition from that age. At the age of three, he sang in the local talent contest, he also won this competition and he received an alarm clock as the first prize. He was raised in Portland, Texas and there he attended Gregory-Portland High School. He finally earned his high school graduation in 1958. In the early 1960, he formed his first band The Strangers Two with Lofton Kline. Together they performed for several years and then he joined Pozo-Seco Singers after Susan Taylor convinced her to join them in 1964. They were signed to Edmark Records and they recorded their debut single Time in 1966 and their debut album Time was also released that year. They signed with Columbia Records and they released three albums. They had several hit singles but this band disbanded in 1971 and then he began pursuing his solo career. His first solo album Don Williams Volume One was released in June 1973 by JMI Records. The actual figure about his annual salary and net worth is unknown.
