The successful American anchor of ABC World News, David Jason Muir is born on 8th November 1973, in Syracuse, New York, the USA to a Roman Catholic Family. Born to Ronald Muir and Pat Mills he also has one older sibling, Becky, three nieces and one nephew. He attended Onondaga Junior-Senior High School, Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, the Institute for Political Journalism and graduated from the University of Salamanca in Spain. He is of the white ethnicity.
David Muir started his career as an anchor and a reporter at WTVH in 1995 and soon joined WCDB where he won Regional Edward R. Murrow Award. In August of 2003, Muir joined ABC News and was able to win numbers of Emmy Awards. Currently, he is the anchor of ABC World News Tonight with David Muir.
