Anthony Michael Bourdain (born June 25, 1956) is an American author, chef and television personality. He was born in New York City, and raised in Leonia, New Jersey. His parents were Pierre Bourdain (d. 1987), a classical music industry executive and Gladys Bourdain (née Sacksman), a staff editor for The New York Times. His ancestors were Catholic and Jewish and his paternal grandparents were from French. He has one sibling, Christopher Bourdain.

Anthony Bourdain married twice in his life. He was first married to Nancy Putkoski in 1985. They were almost together for two decades and they divorced in 2005. He then married Ottavia Busia on 20 April, 2007. They together have one child. They are living happily since then. He is not rumored to be having any other extra affairs. He got a rise in his fame from his 2000 New York Times Bestselling book Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly. He then wrote two more books which also appeared in New York Times Bestselling books. He also uses Facebook and twitter frequently. He has a tall physique with 6 feet and 4 inch tall.
