Alton Brown Biography
Alton Brown is an American television personality, actor, author, musician, food show host and cinematographer who is well known as the creator and host of the TV show Good Eats that is broadcast from Food Network. He was born in Los Angeles to father, Alton Brown Sr, who was media executive and owner of the WEWH radio station and grew up along with his siblings in Georgia. After completing high school graduation, Alton enrolls in the University of Georgia's drama department and completed his education. Regarding his ethnicity, he is white and holds American nationality.
Alton started his career producing cook shows after graduating from the New England Culinary Institue in 1997. He was very much disappointed with the quality of cook shows broadcast on American television back then and this inspired him to produce host own TV show.
Brown is the creator and host of the Food Network's TV series Good Eats. He also hosted shows like Feasting on Asphalt, Feasting on Waves, Iron Chef America, Cutthroat Kitchen and Camp Cutthroat. For his hit show Good Eats, Alton has announced that Good Eats will have the sequel and will be releasing soon on the internet.
Despite having a hosting and producing career, Alton Brown is also an author. He has earned the best-selling author fame for his several books on food and cooking. He has published Alton Brown's Gear for Your Kitchen, I'm Just Here for the Food, Good Eat, Good Eat 2, Good Eat 3 and much more.
Alton Brown has earned wide recognition and fame from his profession. He was named as Cooking Teacher of the Year by Bon Appetit magazine in 2004, won a Peabody Award for Good Eats in 2007, was named as Best Food Guru in 2005 by Atlanta magazine. Brown was also awarded the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Cooking for Solution 2009, Educator of the Year and also awarded for the Best TV Food Personality by the James Beard Foundation.
Moving towards his personal life, Alton Brown married his long-term girlfriend, DeAnna, who is an executive producer on Good Eats in 1992. The couple gave birth to a daughter Zoey in 1993. After several years of marital relationship, Alton and DeAnna divorced in 2015.
The reason behind Alton and DeAnna divorced was said to be insufficient time. Alton is too busy with his work. He hosts several cooking shows and made several tours around the globe, due to this he couldn't give proper time to his wife and he was quite unhappy with his marital relationship as well.
After Alton and DeAnna divorced, it was also rumored that Alton was a gay and a homosexual. Several YouTuber had made several videos regarding Alton sexuality but none of them came to be true. Alton has never accepted that he is homosexual which made all of the rumors and gossip as untrue.

Alton has said about his collection that although he inherited some of the ties, around 145 of them were sent by an art school professor who had collected them over a period of three decades.
