The Playboy founder Hugh Hefner was laid to rest next to late American actress Marilyn Monroe in a private ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 30.
As per the report, the ex-spouse of Crystal Harris, Millie Williams, and Kimberly Conrad, Hugh Hefner, who died on Wednesday, September 27 of natural causes at the age of 91, was farewelled in an intimate ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by his four children (64-year-old Christie, 62-year-old David, 27-year-old Marston, and 26-year-old Cooper), wife Crystal Harris and some Playboy staffers at the Westwood Village Memorial Park in L.A. at noon on Saturday.

Hefner was placed in a crypt to the left of Marilyn Monroe's. He bought the burial spot in the Corridor of Memories Mausoleum in 1992 for $75,000.

Marilyn who died in 1962 at 36, appeared on the cover of the first issue of Playboy magazine in December 1953, and Hefner revealed in 2012 that he felt a “double connection” to Marilyn, who was born the same year as him.
