It was the year 2014 when, Renee was diagnosed with the meningioma brain tumors in 2014. Her illness later found to be more devastating when the couple had to break the news to their only child, 10-year-old daughter Bailey Deluca Baio.
In 2015, Reene told Entertainment Tonight,
Before we told our daughter, [Scott] had put his head on my shoulder in the kitchen and he wept, and our daughter witnessed this, and she said, ‘Mommy, why are you making Daddy cry?
The story doesn't end here. The former actress also has gone through the early stages of breast cancer before she underwent three successful lumpectomies.
